Must be an Active Member by having account activity each month, i.e., using your FREE SPIRIT Onyx World MasterCard credit card each month for at least one purchase, cash advance or balance transfer. First use bonus award for World MasterCard Cardmember is earned in the form of 15,000 bonus miles, which is enough for 3 roundtrip Off-peak award tickets. First use bonus award for Platinum MasterCard Cardmember is earned in the form of 5,000 bonus miles, which is enough for 1 roundtrip off-peak award ticket.. The carry-on bag fee is $20 in advance with $9 Fare Club membership; $30 without membership when paid on spiritair.com or at the airport ticket counter. The carry-on fee at the airport gate is $45 for all customers, paid personal items that fit under the seat are free, such as a purse, briefcase, backpack or laptop computer. Dimensions must not exceed 16 inches by 14 inches by 12 inches. New personal item bag sizers will be available at every Spirit airport location. There is no charge to check wheelchairs, strollers, car seats, or other assistive devices. Items that are overweight or oversized will continue to be weighed and sized at the airport, and fees collected when checking in. Golf club and boxes/containers are acceptable and can be prepaid online provided they meet weight and or size restrictions. Additional baggage allowance may be reserved and paid for at any time provided inventory is available. (No less than one (1) hour prior to departure). Customers holding a reservation that involves a stop of over 4 hours will be charged based on point-to-point travel.

2. Offer subject to credit approval. Benefits will vary depending upon the card for which you are approved. Not everyone will qualify for the World MasterCard and its benefits. If at the time of your application, you do not meet the credit criteria previously established for this offer, or the income you report is insufficient based on your current obligations, we may not be able to open an account for you or you may receive a Platinum card. Bonus Miles: World MasterCard Cardmembers will receive 15,000 bonus miles and Platinum Cardmembers will receive 5,000 bonus miles after first use of your account for a Purchase or Balance Transfer (that are not later returned or rescinded) in the first 60 days after account opening. Bonus miles will be awarded at the close of your billing statement after you make your first Purchase or Balance Transfer. Balance Transfer Checks do not qualify for bonus miles. Balance Transfer Bonus Miles: World MasterCard Cardmembers only will earn one (1) mile per one dollar ($1) in balances transferred to your FREE SPIRIT Onyx World MasterCard requested in the first 30 days after account opening, up to a maximum of ten thousand (10,000) miles. Platinum MasterCard Cardmembers are not eligible for the Balance Transfer bonus miles. Balance Transfer Checks do not qualify for bonus miles. Balance Transfers are subject to the Balance Transfer Fee set forth in the Terms and Conditions. Earning Miles: World MasterCard Cardmembers will earn three (3) miles for every one dollar ($1.00) of net purchases of Spirit Airline tickets with the Account and one (1) mile for every one dollar ($1.00) of Net Purchases made anywhere else with the Account. 4. Month-to-month complimentary membership in the $9 Fare Club will continue if you make at least one purchase in each billing cycle with your FREE SPIRIT MasterCard. There will be a delay between the date you make your initial purchase, the date we report net purchases to Spirit Airlines, and the date that Spirit Airlines acts upon the information, so it may take up to 2 months for your complimentary membership to become active.
